Optimising equine health
Camilla Whishaw is a highly regarded, experienced horsewoman and naturopath. She has always worked with horses- helping her parents from a very young age run their stud in Tasmania, and later furthering her experience in wider Australia and overseas. As a graduate of the now Godolphin (formerly Darley) Flying Start Program, she has been able to further her knowledge and experience in challenging equine health cases globally- learning from some of the World’s leading equine health care professionals. A keen rider she competed across many disciplines: Show jumping, dressage, eventing.
As a dedicated athlete, Camilla has always been passionate about health, wellbeing and performance. When faced with significant health challenges in her late teens and early twenties which didn’t respond to conventional treatment, she turned to alternative therapies. The ways in which these positively turned her life around sparked an insatiable thirst for learning- leading to her studying naturopathy, where she gained a Bachelor of Health Science (Naturopathy).
It was only natural that her passions for horses and natural health combined- leading her to becoming the sought after equine naturopath she is today.
Camilla helps to holistically treat and manage a broad range of health conditions and injuries, with a particular passion for stallion fertility, digestive health, immune challenges and suspensory ligament injuries.
As a fully qualified and accredited naturopath, she is a member of professional associations ANTA and ATMS.
